Reminderville Council approves salary increases

REMINDERVILLE – City Council passed legislation Dec. 14 to increase the salaries for several administrators and other employees mostly by 3 percent – effective Dec. 26 – and also approved the 2022 appropriations.

Among the major new salaries are: Police Chief Marco Berqueist, $88,055; Fiscal Officer Deborah Wordell, $58,525; Fire Chief Thomas Plunkett, $49,342 including longevity; Assistant Fire Chief Chad Johns, $40,990 including longevity; and Law Director Angela Lohan, $58,349.

Other staff members having their salaries increased are: Administrative Assistant/Clerk of Council Stacey Task, $47,350, plus an additional $563 per month as community events/seniors coordinator; and Economic Affairs Director Sam Alonso, $17,911 in addition to his $30,000 mayor’s salary; building department clerk Marty Kuboff, $15.91; Reminderville Athletic Club Director Jessica Rockhill, $78,280; RAC lead staffer Debbie Hybill, $14.17 per hour; and other RAC employees, $9.82 to $13.11.
